If “Drugs don’t cure, just kill the pain” (Maulauna Sheikh Nazim), why take drugs anyway? Drugs will only suppress the symptoms, let you think there’s no basic illness at all. Drugs therefore allow you to go on as usual. But according to my belief, “Illness is the rope which pulls me to Allah”. The illness force me not to go on as usual, but to change my life, bad characteristics, achieve good manners, and so on. Drugs will veil that spiritual incentive and hinder the process.
