Wird nicht die gigantomanisch inszenierte mediale Heldenverehrung von Robert Enke einzig und allein die Botschaft in die Welt hinaustragen, dass Selbstmord überaus lohnenswert ist und reich belohnt wird? Oder bestätigt sich hier nur wieder die Logik, nach der Enke sicht verstecken mußte: Die Welt der Medienstars bläst “normale” Menschen mit normalen Problemen zu riesigen Popanzen auf, egal ob im Leben oder Tod? Kranke Egowelt.
Wir glauben und haben es von unserem geliebten Sheikh Effendi gehört, dass Depressionen auf Unglaube beruhen (werden 300mal am Tag “al-hamdullilah” (Gott sei Dank) sagt, kann unmöglich traurig sein) und dass Selbstmörder bis zum Tag der Auferstehung immer und immer wieder erleben müssen, wie sie gestorben sind.
Wer spricht über den grenzenlosen Egoismus, Frau und Kinder so zu verlassen, so zu verletzen und sie so mit dem ganzen Scheiß allein zu lassen. Astaghfirullah, Tauba, ya Rabbi! Auch von der Kirche hört man so gar nichts Erhellenendes oder Warnendes! Vielleicht sollten sie einmal bei Walter Nigg nachlesen (“Heimliche Weisheit. Mystisches Leben in der evangelischen Christenheit. Artemis, Zürich 1959″), wie der Heilige Gerhard Tersteegen die Seele eines Selbstmörders rettet.

Immer mehr Kinder und Jugendliche wollen sich selbst töten. 50 bis 60
Selbstmordversuche pro Monat werden allein in Kölner Krankenhäusern
registriert, fünf Mal so viel wie noch 2006. Auch bundesweit sei
dieser Anstieg zu bemerken, berichtet Prof. Christoph Wewetzer vom
Krankenhaus Holweide auf einer Fachtagung in Köln. Die Dunkelziffer
sei wahrscheinlich höher. Hinter den Selbstmordversuchen der jungen
Menschen stünden verschiedene Gründe: Armut, Leistungsdruck in der
Schule und familiäre Probleme. Der Experte verweist aber auch auf
einen Vorbildeffekt. Wird in den Medien über einen Selbstmord
berichtet wie im Fall des Fußballers Robert Enke, sähen verzweifelte
Jugendliche im Suizid einen Weg, ebenso Aufmerksamkeit zu erregen.

A young man was getting ready to graduate college. For many months he had admired a beautiful sports car in a dealer’s showroom, and knowing his father could well afford it, he told him that was all he wanted.
As Graduation Day approached, the young man waited signs that his father had purchased the car. Finally, on the morning of his graduation his father called him into his private study. His father told him how proud he was to have such a fine son, and told him how much he loved him. He handed his son a beautiful wrapped gift box.
Curious, but somewhat disappointed the young man opened the box and found a lovely, leather-bound Qur’an. Angrily, he raised his voice at his father and said “With all your money you give me a Qur’an?” and stormed out of the house, leaving the holy book.
Many years passed and the young man was very successful in business. He had a beautiful home and wonderful family, but realized his father was very old, and thought perhaps he should go to him. He had not seen him since that graduation day.
Before he could make arrangements, he received a telegram telling him his father had passed away, and willed all of his possessions to his son. He needed to come home immediately and take care things. When he arrived at his father’s house, sudden sadness and regret filled his heart. He began to search his father’s important papers and saw the still new Qur’an, just as he had left it years ago. With tears, he opened the Qur’an and began to turn the pages.
As he read those words, a car key dropped from an envelope taped behind the Qur’an. It had a tag with the dealer’s name, the same dealer who had the sports car he had desired. On the tag was the date of his graduation, and the words…PAID IN FULL. [via The Haqq]
Letztens, nach dem Tarawih: Kopfschüttelnd verlasse ich die Moschee. Das Salawat für den geliebten Propheten war mir zu kurz gewesen. Beim Ausgang ein sympathischer junger Araber, ebenfalls kopfschüttelnd. Wir nicken uns zu: Ja, Ja. Er weist mit dem Finger nach oben und sagt bestimmt: “Nur Allah!”
